In West Africa, griots are storytellers that maintain the traditions of their culture and community through oration. As a multimedia griot, Amara (she/her/hers) utilizes her expertise in communications science, journalism, digital media and kinesiology to ideate, develop and broadcast the identities and initiatives of clients across mediums and platforms.
Within the marketing and social science sector, Amara thrives consulting with teams and individuals in the development and dissemination of products and ideals via:

Amara has contributed to the project management and digital event and product marketing, for such organizations as Red Hat, RTI International, SAS and Target Tech. Her expertise and passion resides in coaching teams through the product development process, specifically market strategy, business analysis and promotion. She has managed the development of digital media assets for the National Institute of Drug Abuse (NIDA), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), and the Office of Adolescent Health (OAH).
Within the tech sector, Amara has served as a certified project manager, Scrum master, and Agile coach. She has managed multimillion dollar projects in
